Summer Term 1
Our final term in Year 5 and it's going to be a good one! We will be kick starting our English unit with a fantastic hook lesson to introduce our novel "Pig Heart Boy" - but you will have to wait to find out what that is. We will be looking at how authors use characterisation and having a go at doing this ourselves. After that, we will be having a debate around a controversial topic. In Science, we are learning about the circulatory system. We will also be creating some landscapes artwork, looking at renewable energy around the U.K. and making our own online safety animated videos in Computing. Our 10 Mile Hike Challenge is at the end of May, so continue to collect your sponsors for this epic challenge!
