Summer Term 1
Our topic for this half term is Habitats. In English we will be writing a new setting description based on 'The Koala Who Could!' by Annaka Harris. Our non-fiction text will be an explanation text on the threat of extinction for koalas. In Maths, our topics are Number and Place Value, Addition and Subtraction, Measurement - Capacity and Volume, Fractions, Geometry and Time and Shape. In History, we will be learning about cricketer Learie Constantine, and in Art we will be printing in the style of the artist Roy Lichtenstien. We are continuing our Animals topic in Science, looking at Habitats and in RE, we will be looking at Christianity and Baptism. In PE this half term we will be doing Bounce Ball and Games. Our genre for Music is Country and we will be using our voice and performing.
PE
Our PE days are Monday and Tuesday.
