Our topic for this half term is Continents and Oceans. For our fiction unit in English this half term we will be creating writing inspired by 'Not Quite Narwhal' written by Jessie Sima.
Our non-fiction unit will be a newspaper report on the finding of a new magical animal.
In Maths, our units are: Y1 - Capacity and Volume, Fractions, Geometry (Position and Direction), Geometry (Shape), Time, Multiplication and Division, Statistics and Calculation, Measurement and Sorting Sequencing.
Y2 - Capacity and Volume, Temperature, Fractions, Time, Position and Direction, Geometry, Addition and Subtraction, Multiplication and Division, Statistics and Calculation and Measurement.
In Geography, we are studying continents and oceans.
In DT, we are completing a food unit looking at balanced diet.
We are continuing to look at Living things and their habitats in Science, and Islam in RE.
Our PE units this half term are Athletics and Fundamental Movement Skills assessment.
PE
Our PE days are Monday and Tuesday.
