Welcome to Class 11!

A busy and long half-term, with plenty of time to get settled and learn the new routines, as well as enjoy our topic of The Victorians! We will be starting with a fun Victorian Childhood Day on Friday 4th September, where children will live like a Victorian (both rich and poor!) for the day, taking part in numerous activities and develop their understanding of what it was like to be a child over 100 years ago! We will also be visiting Ripon Court, Police and Workhouse Museums on Tuesday 22nd September to give the children a real insight into what these places were really like!

We will learn about Victorian Childhood and changes throughout the Victorian Period in History, as well as develop our drawing skills by creating our own expressionist portraits of Victorian Street Children. We will be looking at grammar in French, Reversible and Irreversible Changes in Science, Keeping Safe Online in Computing and Forgiveness in RE.

We have a full PE afternoon on WEDNESDAY with Miss Moss, so don't forget to wear your PE kit on this day.

Year 6 SAT tests

The tests will be the week commencing Mon 10th May 2027.
