Summer Term 2

Welcome back Year 6! 

Not long to go until your primary school days come to an end and your new chapter begins!

A HUGE well done for all your hard work leading up to the SATs tests.

In English, we will be reading 'Pig Heart Boy' By Malorie Blackman to write a diary entry and newspaper report. In maths, we will be exploring how to create patterns using shapes and angles, before practising some written methods ready for secondary school.

We will learn about renewable energy in the UK in Geography and in DT, we will be cooking spaghetti Bolognese. During RE, we will be learning about Judaism and, in French, we will be having conversations about our homes. In music, we will have Mr Richards back teaching guitar.

We have a full PE afternoon on TUESDAY, starting with outdoor adventure activities followed by athletics.

This Summer term is all about curiosity as we make the transition between primary and secondary school.
