Welcome back Class 9!

This half term, we are studying Ancient Greece (Athens vs Sparta) in History, answering the enquiry question 'How free were people in Ancient Athens and Sparta?'. In English, we will be reading 'Who Let the Gods Out?' by Maz Evans, writing a balanced argument and a Newspaper report. In maths, we will be focusing on Measurement and Statistics, Geometry, Addition and Subtraction, Multiplication and Division, Fractions and Percentages. In Science, we will be learning about Properties and changes of materials, studying Christianity (God) in RE, talking about the weekend in French and learning about the Sculptures in our Art lessons. Our PE this half term is Athletics and Football.

Please arrive to school in your PE kit:

Plain, dark tracksuit bottoms/Plain, dark shorts

Blue school jumper/cardigan/hoodie (no other hoodies)
