Welcome back Class 9!

We have an exciting half-term ahead of us! We are studying Maya Civilisations in History, answering the enquiry question 'What caused the collapse of the Mayan Empire?'. In English, we will be reading The Rain Player by David Wisniewski, looking at Ancient Myths and writing a newspaper report based on the book. In maths, we will be focusing on Place Value, Addition and Subtraction, Multiplication, Measures (Length, Mass and Capacity), and Geometry. In Science, we will be learning about Living Things and their Habitats - Environment (Classification), learning about Hinduism in RE, talking about Clothes in French and learning about Printing in our Art lessons. Our PE this half term is Fitness and Basketball.
