Autumn term 1

This term we will be enjoying the story of 'James and the Giant Peach' by Roald Dahl. This will be our inspiration for a character description and a persuasive advert. We will also be reading and learning poems by Robert Louis Stevenson just before half-term. In Science, we are learning about animals and their habitats. History is linked to the Anglo-Saxons and Sutton Hoo. Our artist is Paddy Campbell, and we will be learning about databases in computing.

Please arrive at school in your PE kit:

• Plain, dark tracksuit bottoms/Plain, dark shorts
• Plain white T-shirt
• Blue school jumper/cardigan/hoodie (no other hoodies)
• Trainers
• No earrings

This half-term, we will be focusing on dance and cricket.
