  • Resilient Minds

    We are delighted to be taking part in Resilient Minds, a programme delivered by Lancashire Mind, which supports children’s emotional wellbeing, mental health and resilience.

    Through the programme, our children will have opportunities to develop important skills to help them:

    • understand and talk about their emotions;
    • manage worries and challenges;
    • cope with setbacks and difficult situations;
    • build confidence and self-esteem;
    • develop positive habits that support good mental health; and
    • recognise when they or someone else may need some extra support.

    At Crawshawbooth, we believe that developing resilience and positive mental health is an important part of helping children to thrive. Resilient Minds complements the work we already do in school to support our children’s wellbeing and fits closely with our school values of curiosity, resilience and respect.

    As part of the project, staff, pupils and parents/carers have access to a range of useful resources through the Resilient Minds digital platform. These resources provide information, activities and practical ideas to help support children’s emotional wellbeing both in school and at home.
