September 2025 - Year 5 & Year 6 Evacuee Day 

On Friday 5th September 2025, we are excited to host a World War II Evacuee Day as part of our History and English curriculum. This immersive experience will help deepen the children’s understanding of life during World War II.

To make the day even more memorable, we invite children to come dressed as evacuees. Homemade costumes are encouraged and can be very simple—please feel free to search online for “WW2 evacuee outfit” for inspiration. These outfits will be used again later in the academic year, so they’ll come in handy more than once!

The day will be filled with engaging activities designed to bring history to life, and we’re sure it will be a fun and educational experience for all.
