When we return to school after the Christmas holidays, children will have the opportunity to enjoy a slice of toast at breaktime for just 25p per slice.

Why are we introducing Toast Time?

• Winter is our coldest season, and a warm snack will provide a substantial boost during break.
• Research suggests that a breakfast-style snack can positively impact learning, behaviour, and overall school performance.
• Toast Time also supports our whole-school nurture approach, helping children develop social skills through shared experiences.

How will it work?

• Toast will be available daily at breaktime.
• The cost is 25p per day, payable half-termly via Scopay.
• For the upcoming half-term (29 days), the total is £7.25, which must be paid by the first day of term.
• It would really help us with the calculation for catering if you were able to book before 15th December. However, bookings will be accepted up until the first day of term. After this deadline, only cash payments will be accepted during each week. 

We hope the children enjoy this cosy snack during the winter months.
