Welcome to Crawshawbooth Primary School

On behalf of the staff, governors, parents and children, I would like to offer you a very warm welcome to Crawshawbooth Primary School and our website.

Crawshawbooth Primary School is a large primary school situated in the beautiful countryside of Rossendale. We are fortunate to benefit from extensive outdoor facilities, including spacious playgrounds and a wonderful outdoor learning environment, which enrich the experiences we provide for our children every day.

At the heart of our school is a dedicated team of highly skilled, passionate and caring professionals who are committed to helping every child thrive. We are proud to be a school where children are happy, healthy and valued, and where strong relationships underpin everything we do.

At Crawshawbooth Primary School, we strive to provide a positive, nurturing and child-centred learning environment. Through an ambitious and engaging curriculum, we encourage children to be curious about the world around them, embrace challenge and enjoy memorable learning experiences that inspire aspirations and prepare them for the future. We want every child to develop the confidence, resilience and respect needed to succeed both in school and beyond.

The Crawshawbooth family is committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of all our children and families. Our vision is built upon three core values that guide everything we do:

Respect

Children at Crawshawbooth Primary School are encouraged to be respectful, thoughtful and considerate members of our community. They learn to value others, celebrate differences and take pride in their contribution to the world around them.

Resilience

We teach our children to embrace challenge, take appropriate risks and learn from their mistakes. By developing resilience and independence, they gain the confidence to overcome difficulties and persevere when faced with obstacles.

Curiosity

Through our carefully designed curriculum, children are encouraged to become inquisitive and enthusiastic learners. We inspire them to ask questions, explore new ideas and develop a lifelong love of learning.

We hope that our website provides you with a valuable insight into our school community, our values and all that makes Crawshawbooth Primary School such a special place to learn and grow. If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We look forward to working in partnership with you and welcoming you into the Crawshawbooth family.
