To support our history topic on the Stone Age this term, we have arranged an exciting educational visit for the Lower Junior children to Brockholes Nature Reserve on Monday, 26th January 2026. Brockholes is a 250-acre nature reserve and home to the UK’s first floating visitor village.

During the visit, the children will enjoy a Stone Age-themed day, taking part in three engaging workshops:

• Building a natural Stone Age shelter
• Learning fire-lighting techniques and foraging skills
• Playing Stone Age woodland survival games
