Firstly, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your unwavering support throughout this academic year. The kindness and encouragement I’ve received from our school community is very much appreciated.  Please can I take this opportunity to confirm a number of end of term events.

Whole school Talent Show & Fun Afternoon On Friday 18th July we’ll kick off the day with our much-loved Talent Show, followed by a fun-filled afternoon.

The PTFA has kindly arranged a visit from an ice cream van for all children to enjoy a sweet treat to celebrate the end of term!

Mrs Maycock Retirement & Celebration Assembly

Mrs Maycock, our much-loved HLTA and musical extraordinaire, will be retiring after an incredible 27 years of dedicated service. Her impact on our school community has been immeasurable, from her tireless work on end-of-year productions and choirs to her leadership in Young Voices events. Her energy, creativity, and commitment have inspired generations of children and colleagues alike. We wish her a joyful and well-deserved retirement, especially as she looks forward to welcoming her fourth grandchild. Mrs Maycock will always be a part of our school family, and we hope she’ll visit often (and perhaps lend a hand with a production or two!).

On Thursday 17th July we will be honouring Mrs Maycock’s incredible 27 years of service with a special celebration in the school hall. This is a private event for invited guests at 2.30pm. Please join me in wishing all our departing staff the very best for the future.
